Springbot to Offer 'Abandonment' Targeting

August 8 2018

Data-driven marketing platform Springbot has launched a feature called Onsite Abandonment, allowing small to medium-size retailers to deliver personalized e-mail marketing messages to current and potential customers who visited their online store but did not make a purchase.

Jarrett BoardSpringbot provides technology for running and tracking multi-channel marketing campaigns - from e-mail and social media marketing, to online ads and Amazon Marketplace. The new Onsite Abandonment feature is available on the Springbot Exchange, which gives merchants access to data usually only available to large retailers.

Jarrett Board (pictured), Head of Product Management says one of the biggest challenges SMB merchants face is reaching web site visitors with targeted marketing. 'With Onsite Abandonment, retailers have the opportunity to send a reminder e-mail to known prospects, which is much more likely to drive purchase. The re-engagement opportunity is significant given the overwhelming percentage of traffic that is otherwise lost', Board adds.
