Confirmit Promotes Hannington to Chief Revenue Officer

Research software firm Confirmit has promoted Tim Hannington to the newly created role of Chief Revenue Officer, managing the firm's entire Sales, Services and Consulting offering at a global level.

Hannington (pictured) joined in 2005 to run the UK sales operation. Since then, his responsibilities have expanded to cover all sales and services functions of the EMEA and Asia Pacific teams. He previously held senior sales positions with IT sector firms Business Control Solutions, McLaren Software, Hewlett Packard and CDI.

In his new position, part of a drive towards greater global alignment across the business, Hannington is tasked with streamlining and improving the processes that underpin Confirmit's sales and services activities, while bringing together teams to support customers.
