In the US, consumer insight app OnePulse has appointed long-time industry exec Mike Billingsley as Global Chief Executive Officer.
OnePulse helps clients build branded communities, and offers them access to consumers via its own community which gets them instant responses to three questions, from their target groups. For consumers, the solution provides a gamified platform via which to give their opinions on news, products, interests and hobbies, for which they are rewarded with micro-payments.
Billingsley most recently ran his own online community and panel business Interloq, before which he worked for Research Now as VP, Client Development; Toluna as General Manager, APAC; and Authentic Response as VP, Sales - Market Research Online Panels. Earlier, he was MD of GMI, overseeing sales teams in the central region of the US; and he served as Director of Operations at AOL, leading a team of online survey programmers.
In his new role, Billinglsey will drive the company's strategy and growth plan, as it continues to launch globally in 2019. He replaces co-founderAtul Choudrie, who left the firm in January to become Chief Commercial Officer of Ditto Bank. Commenting on Billinglsey's appointment, CTO and co-founder Cameron Gordon said: 'Mike brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to lead OnePulse into another year of significant growth.
