Ipsos has appointed David Zotter, a veteran of senior tech roles at Greenfield Online, GfK and most recently SSI, as its Chief Technology Officer.Zotter (pictured) joins with more than twenty years' online research and panels experience. The past nine were spent at SSI, where as a member of the Global Executive team he was responsible for leading and evolving the IT engineering strategy, working in partnership with internal/external stakeholders and third-party service providers. During his time with the firm, he expanded the engineering team from five to more than 100 software developers across three centers in Connecticut, California and Hungary. Before this, he was CTO of GfK Custom Research North America and NOP World; Director, Research & Development at Greenfield Online (now part of Toluna); and Manager, Interactive Product Development at NFO (now part of Kantar).
In a blog, Zotter commented: 'This move is sweet for me because Ipsos is, without question, the world's leading company in the field in which I've spent my entire professional life.
