Gemius Founder Joins MarketSight as CEO

In the US Chris Modzelewski, the founder of web audience specialist Gemius S.A., has joined data analysis and visualization solutions provider MarketSight as Chief Executive Officer. He succeeds founder Michael DeNitto, who has left the company.

Chris ModzelewskiMarketSight, which was acquired by Reimagine Holdings Group last year, offers analysis and reporting tools allowing clients to generate and amend charts and PowerPoint presentations within a secure, web-based environment. Modzelewski (pictured) joins with nearly twenty years of ad tech, market and media research industry experience. He founded Gemius S.A. in 1999, sold the company to a private equity fund nearly nine years later, and also served as President of Polish out-of-home specialist Outdoor Research. More recently, he was Chief Research Officer of digital media measurement company Verto Analytics. For the past six years, he has worked as a consultant.

Commenting on the news, John Almeida, Managing Partner at Reimagine, said: 'Chris' deep commercial and global expertise in the insights industry, and proven track record in leading and building technology businesses, are essential for MarketSight's next phase of innovation and continued growth'.

He replaces DeNitto, who had planned to leave the business since selling it to Reimagine nearly two years ago. A company spokesperson told DRNO that De Nitto is currently considering various possibilities for the next chapter in his career. Almeida added: 'Michael founded and built an industry-leading company in MarketSight and has been a valued business partner to Reimagine'.
