Fiftyfive5 Expands in Sydney, Auckland and Singapore

Insights consultancy Fiftyfive5 has appointed fourteen new members of staff across its offices in Sydney and Auckland. The firm has also relocated Ken Choi from Sydney to Singapore, to take up the position of Director, heading up the Asia operations.

Fiftyfive5 was launched in 2010 by three former Directors of The Leading Edge: Karen Phillips, Mark Sundquist and Darren Kemp. In Sydney, Estelle Gohil and Philippa Dougall join the team, in the role of Senior Qualitative Consultant. Gohil re-joins Fiftyfive5 after living in India, where she ran her own consultancy, and Dougall was previously an Account Director at Vivid Research and joins with more than twenty years' experience. In addition, former Ipsos and Pollinate AD Alice Hacker and former The Leading Edge and Razor Research exec Loren Watling join as Consultants.

In Fiftyfive5's Account teams, former Kantar TNS exec Andrey Fedoseev, former The Leading Edge Consultant Jarrod Rust and former Ruby Cha Cha Consultant Jordan McVaigh join in new Senior Account Manager roles; while Ian Height and Robin Gale take up Account Manager positions from Bastion Latitude and Hall & Partners Open Mind respectively. The business has also hired Molly O'Brien as a Market Research Intern. Additionally, in Fiftyfive5's Social and Government division, Richard Kumar has joined the team in a dualist qual and quant Account Manager role, after stints at AMR Australia and Camino Research & Strategy. Additionally in Sydney, Elise Bliss has been hired in the newly created role of Chief Financial Officer and Natalie Briski joins in a business administration role.

In New Zealand, Lucia Henare has moved back to Auckland as a Consultant, following two-years in Canada, where she worked as a Research Consultant with NRG Research Group. Finally, Choi has relocated to Singapore after more than five years with the company, and having previously worked at TNS Australia and Nielsen.
