In the US, MR data quality and anti-fraud solutions specialist Imperium has appointed Charlie Allieri as Chief Executive Officer. He succeeds founder Marshall Harrison, who moves to the role of Chairman of the Board of Directors.
Founded by Harrison in 1990, Imperium offers a suite of technology services and customized solutions to verify personal information and restrict fraudulent online activities. Last year, the firm acquired online data quality provider TrueSample, which was developed to screen out fake, duplicate, unengaged and unqualified survey respondents, and also identify survey design flaws.
Allieri (pictured) joins with a background that includes launching four data-driven SaaS / DaaS products. Most recently, he founded and served as President of consulting firm GTM Acceleration, which offered go-to-market models for data driven SaaS solutions. Before this, he was Chief Data Officer and Managing Director at Aberdeen Group, and he held leadership roles at B2B brands Infor, NCR and Teradata.
Commenting on the appointment, Harrison said: 'After a thoughtful and comprehensive search process, we are pleased to have found the best individual to assume leadership of Imperium. Charlie has a proven track record of building innovative data-driven businesses. His visionary approach coupled with creativity and executional excellence, make him uniquely qualified to lead Imperium successfully into the future'.
