Research and advisory firm Gartner has reported an 11% increase in group third quarter revenue to $922m - at constant currency, the rise was equivalent to 13%.Reported revenue from the Research division also rose 11%, to $771m; for the Events arm it was up 27% to $57m, and for the Consulting segment, up 9% to $79m. Overall adjusted EBITDA (excluding divested operations) was up 15% (17% at constant currency) to $149m.
CEO Gene Hall (pictured) says the quarter 'continued the trend of double-digit growth in contract value, revenue, and profits, combined with strong cash flow', and says prospects for future growth remain strong.
