Emotion analysis specialist Realeyes has appointed Sarah O'Donnell as Vice President of Product Management, based in its New York office, while former Unruly exec David Waterhouse joins as Vice President of Marketing in the firm's London HQ.
Realeyes uses webcams, computer vision and machine learning software to analyse how people feel as they watch video content online, helping users to measure ad effectiveness, optimise content and target the right audiences. In addition to its London base and office in New York, the firm operates in Boston and Budapest, and in May this year, it raised $16.2m to fund continuing expansion.
O'Donnell (pictured) joins with more than fifteen years of experience managing product teams. Most recently, she worked at contextual intelligence solutions provider Grapeshot, leading the company's product strategy and contributing to its acquisition by Oracle Data Cloud in May this year. Before this, she led product management teams at a number of companies, including eBay Enterprise, Bloomberg and Syncsort; and co-founded Click Commerce, leading it through an IPO and acquisition.
CEO Mihkel Jäätma comments: 'I'm so excited to have someone of Sarah's experience, drive and vision to help lead us into the next chapter of our growth. Sarah is a product ninja, with a proven track record of driving incredible growth at companies both large and small. I'm really looking forward to seeing her take Realeyes' ground-breaking tech and attention management tools to the next level'.
Former journalist Waterhouse joins after working at video ad distribution and tracking platform Unruly, where he helped lead communications strategy when the firm was sold to News Corp. In his new role, Waterhouse will head up Realeyes' marketing team, reporting to CRO Rob Blake.
