Dell'Oro Group Hires Broadband Access Program Lead

Dell'Oro Group, which provides competitive analysis in the telecoms, networks and data center IT markets, has appointed Jeff Heynen as Research Director, Broadband Access.

Heynen (pictured) joins with a background in both fixed and wireless broadband technology, market analysis and consulting. Most recently, he worked at S&P Global Market Intelligence as Research Director, Technology; and prior to this he spent a decade at IHS, latterly as Research Director, Broadband Access and Pay TV, authoring quarterly market share/forecast reports and annual studies detailing service provider buying plans. Earlier, he led all marketing communications for telecoms firm sentitO Networks.

In his new role. Heynen will lead the broadband access market research program, which encompasses cable, fibre, copper and emerging wireless broadband technologies and trends. Additionally, he will help shape coverage of next-generation broadband access architectures and service models.
