Event building, marketing and management company MP International (MPI) has acquired a 'significant stake' in FUTR Group, which analyses the trends shaping the future of retail, marketing and commerce in Asia, Europe and the US. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.Co-founded as Millennial 20/20 by Rupa Ganatra and Simon Berger, the FUTR Group platform uncovers trends around advertising, artificial intelligence (AI), data, marketing, social media, mobile, robotics and more. The firm also organises FUTR Summits, to provide practical insights and real-time case studies on how the industry is evolving to meet consumers' needs; and offers FUTR Insights, FUTR Immerse and FUTR Innovate case studies year-round.
FUTR will continue to be led by Ganatra and Berger. Commenting on the deal, Jason Ng, Executive Director of MPI, said: 'We see great synergy and potential growth in our partnership with the FUTR Group. Using our combined knowledge and experience with innovation, future trends and insights across multiple industry sectors, platforms and territories, we will further expand the value proposition of FUTR for our clients.'
