Digital Knowledge Management specialist Yext has expanded its Paris sales and marketing teams, doubling its workforce in the region. The firm has promoted Tarik Aitakkaouali to Regional VP and Hélène Draoulec to Marketing Director, while Selwa Hussain joins as EMEA CFO.
Yext's platform promises to give companies 'control over their brand experiences across the digital universe of maps, apps, search engines, voice assistants, and other intelligent services that drive consumer discovery, decision, and action'. The firm is based in New York but the Paris office - opened in 2015 - is its regional headquarters for Southern Europe, where it is experiencing 'sustained growth'. It also has European offices in Berlin, Geneva and London.
Aitakkaouali (pictured centre), who joined Yext in 2017 as Director of Enterprise Sales, will now report to Franck Negro, MD for Southern Europe, and will manage a team of enterprise sellers. Before joining he held multiple leadership roles at Splio.
Draoulec (pictured left) joined last spring as Senior Marketing Manager, and is now responsible for recruiting and developing a marketing team to cover Southern Europe - France, Spain, Italy and Portugal - with a strong focus on lead generation. Earlier in her career he worked in marketing at SAP and Zendesk.
Hussain (pictured right) was previously Vice President, Finance, Tax and Treasury at Pandora for seven years, most recently taking charge of worldwide tax planning, compliance and reporting. She began her career at KPMG, where she worked for twenty years, rising to Partner.
