US-based consumer-centered business strategy and custom research company Magid has appointed Brian Ahladas as Vice President of its Media Strategy Group.
The company, which was founded by television 'news doctor' Frank N. Magid in 1957, studies how human behavior is affected by content and advertising across traditional and new media platforms. Ahladas (pictured) joins from media company TEGNA, where he most recently served as Director of Sales. Prior to this, he was Regional Sales Director at TEGNA's over-the-top (OTT) ad services platform Premion; responsible for sales of the firm's OTT video ad network to regional and national advertising clients.
Commenting on the appointment, EVP Bill Hague said: 'Brian's background and skill set are a perfect match for the next evolution of our products and services for our local media clients. With his addition to our team of experts, the growth of our revenue strategy practice, as well as our work within the OTT space, will rapidly accelerate.'
