In the UK, Tesco-owned customer data science platform dunnhumby has appointed Julie Woods-Moss as Chair of Board of Directors.dunnhumby is a customer data science business which helped establish the Tesco Clubcard loyalty scheme in 1994 and is now owned by the retail giant. This January, the firm launched a data-driven media business offering retailer data to engage consumers with personalized communications throughout the customer journey.
Woods-Moss (pictured) was previously Chief Marketing and Innovation Officer of Tata Communications, before which she worked for BT as President of Strategy Marketing & Propositions, VP of UPC Broadband and Director of Sales and Distribution for IBM Mobility Solutions. She is currently an independent director at Grosvenor Liverpool and a senior advisor at Next15's digital marketing and tech agency Agent3.
Tesco CEO Dave Lewis comments: 'I am delighted that Julie is joining dunnhumby to chair its board of directors at an important time for the business. Julie's wide-ranging skills and experience will be of significant benefit to dunnhumby as it implements its strategic growth plan'.
