UK-based marketing services firm The Unlimited Group has acquired advanced analytics company Model Citizens, and rebranded it as Realise Unlimited. The Group has also announced a major contract for Ford in the UK.
Model Citizens was established in 2007 by Stephen Welch and Ian Bobbett, and helps brands make data-driven business growth decisions. The Group, which includes insight division Walnut Unlimited, says the new unit will 'sit centrally and pivot across all the agencies', enhancing its offer across CRM, PR, marketing and digital transformation, health and insight. Realise Unlimited's team will sit 'right in the centre of the agency offices in Soho, London' and help the Group stay 'ahead of the game' in the fast-changing business environment - alongside its Catalyst step-by-step planning methodology.
Unlimited Group CEO Michael Richards (pictured) comments: 'Advanced data analytics presents one of the most exciting opportunities in our industry and this acquisition gives us both the credibility and platform to super-charge our offering'. Welch, who is now a Director of Realise Unlimited, says 'the partnership will give us the power we need to propel forward what we have spent over ten years building. Collectively we have the capacity to deliver exponential results'.
Separately the Group, which recently formed a strategic alliance with international agencies Hakuhodo and Serviceplan, has announced that Ford Motor Company has chosen its to provide dealer marketing strategy and support for all Ford UK Dealers via a new on-site agency based with the team at its head office. This is the first time Ford has appointed a dealer marketing agency and is part of a strategy to drive innovation for Ford UK dealers and improve marketing efficiency. The agency will also provide direct dealer support and a coaching programme to improve knowledge, understanding and performance.
