Japan-based research and marketing group INTAGE has merged its healthcare MR provider ANTERIO Inc. with customer relations specialist ASKLEP, under the new name of INTAGE Healthcare Inc. The new company is led by former ANTERIO CEO Yoshiya Nishi.The new INTAGE Healthcare unit will continue to provide primary and syndicated healthcare marketing research, at the same time expanding its clinical development and evidence generation support services to include real world data analytics, patient-report outcomes research, and health economic evaluations. In addition to ANTERIO and ASKLEP, which focuses on post-marketing surveillance and clinical data management, the new unit is home to fieldwork company PLAMED Inc., ad and comms specialist Kyowa Kikaku Ltd. and prescription drug data analytics company the Japan Medical Information Research Institute Inc. (JMIRI).
Nishi (pictured) says the combination 'brings a large number of talented people with similar values together to do great things', adding: 'we are excited about what that means for our customers and ultimately healthcare consumers'.
