In Germany, Smart News Fachverlag (SNFV), the publisher of market research portal marktforschung.de, and industry trade fair organiser succeet have partnered to create what they describe as a 'new powerhouse' for the insights industry.Last October Heinrich Fischer, one of the founders of the now closed MR trade show Research & Results, announced the launch of his new event succeet21, which combines an October 'Presence' event with a Virtual show due to take place from 14th to 16th April. marktforschung.de, already a supporter of the Shows, will now add its online publications experience - including weekly market research industry news source WdM - to succeet's expertise in trade fairs and events. The pair say that this will provide 'enormous efficiency advantages' for their business partners and customers.
Holger Geiszlig;ler, co-founder and MD of Smart News Fachverlag, will join succeed founders Fischer and Simone Waller-Klink on the latter's management team. Their first joint activity is the succeet21 virtual trade show; and the partnership will also provide future networking and training opportunities, as well as international market research-related virtual events.
Fischer and Waller-Klink comment: 'With this merger, we are strengthening the market research industry as a whole. This has enormous advantages for everyone as we make a valuable contribution to the restart of the insights industry after the Corona crisis'.
