TNS Media Intelligence/CMR has announced the appointment of Thomas Rocco as executive vice president, sales and marketing. He will also lead the activities of TNSMI/CMR's client service group.
Rocco has more than 20 years experience in the media industry, much of it building and leading sales, marketing and service teams. Prior to joining TNSMI/CMR, he served as president of the College Television Network (CTN), where he led the network to a position of prominence in the cable industry before selling it to MTV Networks. Prior to this he successfully ran the sales and business development divisions at Discovery Communications, and worked in sales and marketing roles at other leading media companies such as NBC-TV Network, WNYW (Fox Television), and ABC Radio Network.
