Cross-screen television insight and analytics provider Samba TV has partnered with media marketplace MediaSquare to provide ad retargeting and targeting for OTT (over-the-top) viewers and gamers in France.
San Francisco-based Samba TV, which recently filed for an IPO, uses data from social media, connected devices and tens of millions of opt-in smart TV households worldwide, to help clients measure viewing and understand its impact on consumer behavior. In addition to technology embedded in smart TVs, the firm uses a panel representative of the US population to measure television and digital ad exposure for each household.
In France, Samba TV provides access to a panel of nearly 1 million households, through which Samba TV and MediaSquare will now deliver advanced targeting and analytics for OTT and gaming.
