Ipsos exec Tasneem Ali has joined the group's AI-enabled social media intelligence business Ipsos Synthesio as its Head in the UK.
Founded in 2006, Ipsos Synthesio combines social media, search and survey data from more than 800 million sources in over 80 languages across 195+ markets. The business, which was acquired by Ipsos in 2018, offers a platform powered by natural language understanding and AI, to support online and off-line data sources.
Ali (pictured) joins from Ipsos iris, a UK industry standard for online audience measurement, launched by Ipsos and online audience measurement body UKOM (UK Online Measurement). During her career, Ali has worked for Nielsen in London, Canada, Dubai and Pakistan, most recently as Director, Client Development (BASES EU). Earlier she also spent five years at Ipsos in Canada, latterly as Senior Research Manager, Brand & Advertising Research.
