Tel Aviv-based market intelligence company Similarweb has appointed HubSpot CMO Kipp Bodnar to its Board of Directors, effective 5th September.
Similarweb's proprietary software helps clients understand online behavior - including the behavior of visitors to similar kinds of sites to their own. In a busy year to date the firm has acquired Chilean ad intelligence specialist Admetricks and Swiss app intelligence provider 42matters, appointed Nielsen veteran Susan Dunn as Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), and reported second quarter revenue of $60.6m, up 13% versus a year previously.
Bodnar (pictured) brings experience in scaling SaaS businesses, driving growth and enhancing customer engagement on a global scale. At HubSpot he sets global marketing strategy to drive awareness and demand, and earlier served as VP of Marketing where his role included building out the EMEA and APAC marketing teams. He is also a marketing advisor for a number of SaaS companies and co-author of The B2B Social Media Book. He holds a BA in journalism from Marshall University.
Or Offer, co-founder and CEO of Similarweb says Bodnar has played a key role in shaping Hubspot's marketing strategy and driving exponential growth, which 'aligns perfectly with Similarweb's mission to empower businesses with unparalleled digital insights'. He concludes: 'Kipp's expertise will be instrumental as we continue to expand our market leadership and deliver even greater value to our customers'.
