Multi-channel advertising platform StackAdapt has appointed Cassandra Hudson as Chief Financial Officer.
Media buyers use StackAdapt's demand-side platform (DSP) to plan, execute and optimise ads across devices and publishing partners, with built-in measurement capabilities. The firm launched its own self-service footfall attribution solution last year, allowing US-based brick and mortar advertisers to quantify the influence of online advertising on off-line visits; then partnered with B2B web site visitor ID specialist Lead Forensics to expand its Account Based Marketing targeting and measurement solution in the EMEA and Canada. Already in 2024 it has teamed up with omniscreen video measurement provider Samba TV, and announced a number of senior hires, including former Snap and Amazon exec Darcie Henry as Chief People Officer and Ryan Nelsen as CMO. Last month it appointed June Sung as VP Global Analytics and Insights, Renee Caceres as Head of Retail Media, and Mark Positano as Head of Political.
Hudson joins from EngageSmart, where as CFO she built and led the strategic finance function, and before that she was VP of Finance and Chief Accounting Officer at Carbonite, and held roles at The Davenport Companies, RSM US LLP, and Henderson and Associates. She has helped take two technology companies public, and StackAdapt says broken barriers 'as a young C-suite executive in a traditionally male-dominated field'. In her new role she will help StackAdapt gear up for continued rapid development in new markets.
Co-founder and CEO Vitaly Pecherskiy says of the appointment: 'The addition of Cassandra Hudson as our CFO marks a pivotal moment. Her extensive experience in guiding rapidly expanding organizations and increasing revenue will be invaluable in navigating emerging markets and reinforcing our leadership team's strength and vision'.
