UK firm Yonder Consulting has moved Managing Partner Tom Wormald from a general cross-company position to one focusing more specifically on its research and insight function. The firm says this is part of a drive to 'integrate insight and strategic intelligence as part of its future growth plans'.
Yonder was created in 2020 when survey firm Populus brought together its own team with those of its fieldwork arm Populus Data Solutions, its brand and business strategy firm BrandCap, and insight-led innovation firm Decidedly. Wormald was Decidedly's MD, and since then has worked in leadership roles across the whole of Yonder, including Chief Development Officer and more recently Managing Partner. In all he has more than twenty years of experience in insight, strategy, public engagement and innovation, and holds a Doctorate in Social Anthropology from the University of Manchester.
With the new title of Managing Partner for Research and Insight, Wormald will focus on enhancing the offering both as a standalone service to research buying clients and as an integral part of Yonder's insight-driven approach to strategy. CEO Michael Simmonds comments, 'I am delighted that Tom has agreed to take on this important role for Yonder. Tom's deep expertise and inspiring leadership will be pivotal in ensuring our research and insight underpins the powerful strategic answers to our client's most challenging problems'.
