Omnicom-owned marketing network Hearts & Science has appointed Rochelle Chhaya as its first APAC CEO, effective immediately. She has worked at the group for fourteen years, most recently as CEO of OMG Thailand.
Hearts & Science was launched nearly nine years ago with the aim of helping marketers exploit the new potential of personalized digital marketing, converging CRM and addressable channels, and real-time insights and targeting. The division sits alongside and has at times shared leadership with OMG's tech, data, measurement and insights services provider Annalect.
Chhaya (pictured) will help to launch the firm in Malaysia and Taiwan in the next two months, and will continue to oversee the group's business in Thailand alongside country COO Jinnarat Sampuntharat, until a replacement is appointed.
She reports to Tony Harradine, OMG's Chief Executive in the region, who comments: 'Expanding the Hearts & Science footprint across a region that is an epicentre for economic expansion, technological innovation, and digital commerce demands a seasoned leader who possesses operational experience with a deep understanding of the modern consumer's priorities and behaviours.
