Newly Rebranded 5D Creates AI Division

Strategic research consultancy 5D, known until recently as Fifth Dimension, has launched an AI division. 5D-AI will be run by founder and Chief Exec Lyndall Spooner; Director of Technology and Operations Abhishek Jayant; and Data Scientist Nick Wyatt.

The Australian company was established in 2006, changed its name just two weeks ago, and specialises in the 'Science of Choice', with expertise in five areas: strategy, methodology, experience, research and technology.

The new 5D-AI unit aims to help businesses 'drive transformative change through bespoke AI tools and technologies' - it will develop custom solutions including deep-trained chatbots, LLMs, genAI agents, machine learning models and smart data hubs, all with the design of extracting 'sharper, faster insights from market-based data.'

Spooner says the new division 'recognises the more than five years of AI development we have already invested in and formalises the suite of AI bespoke solutions we now provide to marketing and insights teams.' She adds: 'We work collaboratively with our clients to develop a suite of AI solutions that not only enhance productivity, but integrate across the business to drive a stronger competitive brand growth strategy. 5D-AI can fundamentally change how businesses operate, understand and respond to competitor activities and the influence of technology on consumer psychology.'
