Branding Veteran Joins Euro RSCG

High-profile senior planning and strategy veteran Paula Ausick has joined integrated marketing agency Euro RSCG 4D Chicago in the newly-created position of Senior VP and Director of Strategy and Planning.

Ausick was previously Director of Brand Equities at Foote Cone & Belding Chicago, where she led a team which developed and launched several global proprietary online decision tools including the FCB Brand Physical, the FCB Brand Op, and the American Dream Index. She is known particularly for brand work focusing on young adults, male consumer markets and consumer shopping behavior, and for the proprietary FCB study entitled 'Wal-Mart is Transforming Your Customer'.

Before joining FCB she worked for seven years at DDB Needham. She also served as Director of Marketing and Communications at the University of Chicago Medical Center, where she and her group were awarded the 1988 American Marketing Association's Stuart Henderson Britt Marketing Achievement Award.

In her new role Ausick will work closely with the company's new senior management team including President Mark Blankenship; Ron Bess, CEO and Regional Director of North America; Steffan Postaer, Chairman and Chief Creative Officer; and Zain Raj, Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer, to develop media-neutral business-building solutions that can be implemented across the integrated business units.
