Doxus Expands Senior Research and Analytic Staff

August 10 2005

US technology and financial research specialist Doxus has appointed Erin Leedy and Dan Bruner as Senior Researchers to its Account Services group, and Vinay Dowray and Rich Jones as Researcher/Analysts to the Marketing Sciences group.

Leedy, trained as an industrial designer, has a decade of primary research experience in the high-tech industry. Her experience includes observational and contextual site visits, out-of-box testing, beta testing and product placements in consumer and business environments.

Bruner was formerly an executive in the international user-research consultancy Lextant, and the global design firm Fitch. He has wide experience of qualitative research, with a particular emphasis on ethnography/observational research, usability and persona development, as well as traditional qualitative methods such as focus groups and in-depth interviews.

Dowray comes to Doxus from the U30 Group, where he was a Senior Research Analyst working on consumer-focused, panel-based qualitative and online quantitative MR projects for wireless telecoms, gaming, apparel and consumer packaged goods clients.

Jones has a broad background in survey and market research, with experience in discrete choice and structural equation models, as well as in sample design and multimode research.

Doxus Principal Theo Downes-Le Guin commented that the additions to the team will allow the company to reinfoce its 'unique combination of advanced research capabilities, marketing acumen and intimacy with high-technology markets'.

The company's web site is at www.doxus.com .
