August 31 2005

US high-tech market research firm In-Stat has appointed research and telecoms industry veteran Bryan Van Dussen, formerly of the Yankee Group, as Director of Service Provider Research. He will oversee the company's telecom service provider and business segmentation research services.

Van Dussen's most recent job was as Director of Telecommunications Strategies Research at the Yankee Group. Before that, he was VP at Priority Telecom, and previously VP of Marketing for a start-up international IP carrier, where he developed, launched, and marketed services in 19 countries.

John Dinsdale, In-Stat's VP of Research says Van Dussen has 'direct market analysis and primary research experience, as well as the business and product management experience needed to make a big impact in this key service area'.

In-Stat, part of the Reed Elsevier global information network, provides research and market forecasts of the semiconductor and advanced communications industries. It has offices in Arizona, California, Massachusetts, Singapore and Beijing. The company's web site is at www.in-stat.com
