US-based SRC has launched a UK version of its DemographicsNow business intelligence web site - the first of several planned international launches. The site uses a consumer and market profiling tool, providing companies with online life-stage profiles and other demographic information for any selected area in the UK.
The subscription-based site uses the latest household-level consumer profiling data to categorise households based on 21 life stages (single, married, parent, empty-nest, etc) and 70 clusters. It also provides a detailed summary of a household's specific consumer and demographic characteristics, and aggregates various other UK demographic and geographic data. Subscriptions cost £2,250 a year, including access to interactive maps, and pre-formatted and customised reports, using thousands of variables.
Olivia Duane-Adams, SRC Co-founder says the rollout of DemographicsNow in the UK is the first of many launches 'to meet the pent-up demand for accurate, easy-access business intelligence that marketers worldwide require'.
