International marketing company dunnhumby has appointed Adrian Sanger, formerly of Millward Brown, to a new Insight Director role, designed to increase the agency's research capabilities. This follows last year's appointment of Martin Hayward to the new position of Director of Consumer Strategy and Futures.
Sanger spent ten years at Millward Brown, where he headed up one of the company's quantitative business units, with responsibility for strategic planning, account development and client handling. He previously held research positions at Taylor Nelson AGB and British Gas.
Sanger's new role will involve strengthening the agency's research and insight services, building on its existing worldwide shopping panel.
Hayward says the appointment will move the company 'closer to developing a truly 360-degree picture of what customers do, why they do it and what they'll do next'. He adds: 'We are reinventing the scale, accuracy and actionability of consumer insight.'
The company, which has offices in London and Ohio, is online at www.dunnhumby.com.
