US-based Internet survey sample provider Sample Czar has partnered with Chinese loyalty program SmartClub to develop consumer and business panels for online surveys in China.
SmartClub has ten million members, who earn points by travelling on public transport, shopping at retail partners, or using their mobile phones.
According to Doug Lowell, President of Sample Czar: 'The Chinese consumer market is explosive, and it's inevitable that market research activity will quickly follow. He adds that he is 'confident that this partnership will enable us to have the biggest panel in the Chinese market'.
Henry Winter, CEO of SmartClub outlines the benefits for his members: 'Adding surveys is a great way for our members to earn more SmartPoints'.
Lowell says the move to China is part of an ongoing effort to expand Sample Czar's international market research capabilities. The company already has online research panels in several countries across North America, Europe, and Asia Pacific.
