Infonetics Hires Telecoms Analyst

US-based telecoms and data networking specialist Infonetics Research has appointed Stéphane Téral as an Analyst. Téral will direct the company's market research reports and forecasts across a range of areas, including next generation voice services and fixed-mobile convergence.

Téral has nearly 17 years' experience in the telecoms industry. He joins Infonetics from analyst firm RHK and its consulting arm 10th Street Advisors, where he was an Analyst and MD for eight years. He has provided advice to various telecoms companies including Alcatel, BT, Deutsche Telekom, France Télécom, and Siemens, and has also worked with Alcatel in various technical positions in Europe and the US.

He was a McGowan Scholar at the McLaren School of Business, University of San Francisco, where he received his MBA, and has an Engineering Diploma in Telecommunications from the Institut National des Télécommunications in France.

In his new role, he will lead custom projects, as well as directing a range of reports, including Service Provider Next Gen Voice & IMS Equipment: Quarterly Market Share & Forecasts and Service Provider Capex, Revenue, & Subscribers: Annual Market Size & Forecasts.
