Sara Lee Food & Beverage (SLF&B) last week appointed Ravi Parmeswar, previously of Coca-Cola, as Vice President of its Central Insights Group. He will lead the North American consumer, shopper and retailer research and insights teams, as well as providing support to innovation and business planning.
Previously, he held senior management roles leading global marketing at top CPG firms including The Coca-Cola Company and Campbell Soup Company.
At Coca-Cola Parmeswar held roles including Vice President of North America Marketing; VP and Director Global Corporate Marketing; and Associate Director, Sector Manager for Latin America Group Marketing. His last position at Campbell Soup Company was as Director of Global Market Research. He also worked at Kraft General Foods as a senior research engineer; and has held positions at the National Institute for Petroleum and Energy Research (NIPER), a subsidiary of IITRI, MVA Exploration LTD and Tertiary Oil Recovery, Inc.

He has a Master of Business Administration from Temple University, a Master of Science degree in chemical engineering from the University of Kansas and a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering from the University of Mysore in India.
