Research International has strengthened its US Board of Directors with the appointment of Marla Commons, SVP and Regional North American Qualitative Director.
Commons will be instrumental in driving RI's qualitative offer. She has more than twelve years' experience of market research and qualitative expertise in the consumer and b2b sectors. She coined Cellnography in 2005, a groundbreaking ethnography tool which now provides many Fortune 500 companies with new ways of thinking to drive their brands in the marketplace.
She joined RI three years ago on leaving Mintel International, and holds a Ph.D. in Social Psychology from DePaul University.
Bob Meyers, RI's incoming Worldwide CEO, says he is 'delighted to appoint Marla to the Board' and believes her promotion 'will considerably advance RI's progress in fully integrating qualitative and quantitative research.'
