In New York, healthcare marketing research firm the Ziment Group has promoted John Tapper from Chief Operating Officer to Chief Executive Officer of its primary research and consulting division, Ziment Custom.Tapper joined the firm in 2002 as Chief Methodologist prior to being named COO last December. During his tenure, Ziment Custom has launched a number of tools include Demand Calibration, Benchmark Discrete Choice (www.mrweb.com/drno/news7329.htm ), TAGZ and MESSAGEZ.
He was previously Principal at Diamond Management and Technology Consultants, where he helped establish and lead the firm's quantitative marketing research practice. Tapper has a PhD in Mass Communication from the University of Wisconsin, Madison and a BA from the University of Colorado.
Existing CEO Lynnette Cooke steps down from the role but continues as overall CEO for the Ziment Group.
