German Life Science Firm Partners with MattsonJack

Kantar-owned pharma and biotech research firm MattsonJack has formed a 'co-operative agreement' with LifeScience Consulting Group (LCG), based in Karlsruhe, Germany. LCG becomes the firm's associate partner conducting research in the German-speaking countries.

Founded in 1994, LCG offers research into therapeutic areas for pharma, biotech, and medical technology clients, clinics, physicians, hospitals, government departments and health funds.

The firm's CEO and Senior Partner Horst Mertens said that he expects the synergy between the two organizations to provide 'wonderful insights' and value to their clients around the world. LCG will continue to conduct projects in the life sciences and healthcare sectors exclusively for the German-speaking countries (Germany, Austria, Switzerland), and also for projects in the EU.

MattsonJack Europe's SVP and Business Leader Pierre Anhoury, who joined the firm in January, commented: 'Dr Mertens and the staff of LCG have demonstrated substantial competency over the years. As part of MattsonJack International, together we will be even better positioned to serve large and small clients, in business decision support.'
