IT specialist Springboard Research has appointed Gopalakrishnan Krishnamurthy (GK) as its Vice President of India operations, heading the firm's Global Research Center (GRC) in New Delhi.Krishnamurthy has more than 24 years' experience managing processes and projects in several IT companies. Prior to joining Springboard, he was Associate VP of Manufacturing and Operations at iPolicy Networks, and he previously held project execution and team management roles at Quark Media House and iProcess, a GE subsidiary. Krishnamurthy holds a BA in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur and a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta.
In his new role, Krishnamurthy will also be responsible for expanding and developing the company's research coverage of the Indian market, and will report directly to CEO & EVP of Research, Dane Anderson, who commented: 'The Global Research Center in India is the cornerstone of our innovative research model. We are very pleased to have GK on board to grow our capabilities and offer deeper market insight to companies operating in India'.

In February, the firm appointed Michael Barnes as VP for Software Research, based in the Singapore office.
