J&D Enters US, Plans Further Global Expansion

UK based pharma decision support consultancy J&D Associates has expanded into the North American market with the opening of new offices in Boston, Massachusetts.

The US operation is led by VP Lisa Griffith, who was previously Head of Market Research at Idenix Pharmaceuticals, and prior to that was Global Head of Market Research for New Product Planning at Merck & Co.

Founding Director Santanu Das explained that with most of the client base in Europe, the company felt the time was right to develop in the US. He commented: 'We are very pleased with how Lisa has transported the J&D Associates model into the US market. We are already looking at further global developments and we expect to make further announcements about that soon.'

The firm, which was founded in London in 2005, helps clients pinpoint market opportunities using a combination of applied market research techniques and decision support analytics.
