In the US, wireless survey provider Kinesis Survey Technologies has enhanced the real-time reporting capabilities of its software, and added support for the industry standard Triple-S XML export formats.Kinesis Survey enables researchers to design and launch their own web surveys. Advanced functionality such as easy uploading of images, and ability to display concepts and images, and point-and-click conditional logic enables most surveys to be programmed by non-programmers.
The latest upgrade simplifies the building of 'brandable' reporting portals that contain any number of preconfigured reports, refreshable in real-time. It also facilitates offline programming which means two or more people can work on a project concurrently, and programmers can work in locations where Internet access is slow or impossible. Once programmed in offline mode, text documents can be formatted into web or wireless surveys and uploaded and tested at a later time.
Founder and Chief Technical Officer Juha Vehnia says the new version enables market research software vendors to export and import fully labeled data file formats more effectively. He adds: 'Kinesis Survey is the first solution that will offer Triple-S support for both export format versions 1.2 and 2.0.'
Kinesis Survey Technologies was founded in 2003, is based in Austin, Texas, and is online at www.kinesissurvey.com .
