UK-based agency SPA has established a dedicated team to focus on Internet and Web research, and appointed Chris Handford to head it up.
Handford, who joined SPA last year, has over 10 years' experience in web-based research from both agency and client side positions.
The team offers both qual and quant research approaches with a focus on web user insights and trends, visitor surveys, site development and user experience. The company has worked on such surveys for years but has created the specific team following the development of new capabilities and an increased volume of work from clients including T-Mobile and IPC Media.
Handford says the unit will expand and is actively recruiting at present. SPA is based in London and was established in 1994 - web site www.spa-mr.com .
