In the UK, Leeds-based agency Quaestor has launched a toolkit to enable clients to interact more directly with their audiences.
Branded as 'Live It!', it includes a range of techniques with an innovative feel, apparent from their names - they include quasi-ethnography, immersion sessions, gallery walks, quiz dating and large, interactive 'carousel' sessions.
The firm says the techniques, which can be tailored to meet specific client needs, have already been employed in new product development, communications evaluation, and customer relationship management and satisfaction studies.
Caroline Rushton, Director at Quaestor's media arm Qmedia, explains: 'Many clients are tired of the same old research. Our toolkit brings them closer than ever to consumers; stepping into their world and seeing life through their eyes.'
Quaestor, which has offices in Leeds andLondon, is part of UK marketing services group Optimisa.
