In the US, IBM veteran Christopher Caine has launched Mercator XXI, which will help clients export their success globally. As well as market access and market research, the new firm offers advice on government relations and public policy.For the last 25 years, Caine was employed by IBM as VP in its Governmental Programs unit, responsible for global public policy issues that impacted the company.
His new consultancy provides insights and support to help clients execute their organization's objectives to engage in the global economy in developed, developing, or emerging markets. Through market access and market research, the firm uncovers new opportunities and trends and the means to differentiate clients in the marketplace.
Caine is joined by VP of Operations Monica Debban, who previously spent 10 years with IBM, where she held a variety of HR positions including Human Resources Data Collection, Staffing Services and Recruiting.
'Today's global economy presents great opportunities if organizations are able to successfully bring together the strategy, the people and the programs,' explained Caine. 'Drawing from our experience, we will not only help our clients develop the strategy and assets they need to grow but we are committed to helping them execute as well.'
While Mercator XXI is headquartered is in Washington, DC, Caine says he plans to establish affiliates around the world.
