Peter Greene has left consumer and retail specialist The NPD Group after nearly 20 years, to join Nielsen's Segmentation and Local Market Analytics division in a newly created role, SVP Durables Strategies.For the past four years, Greene has served as NPD's President, Audio/Video and Imaging, with P&L responsibility for one of the firm's largest industry sectors. Prior to this, he was VP and General Manager of the Consumer Technology sector, President, Home Products, and VP - Financial Services.
In his new role, Greene will direct the strategy and development of solutions for durables clients, by integrating Nielsen's data assets with proprietary and third-party information.
