Netherlands-based online researcher MetrixLab has opened a new office in Shanghai, China - led by former Ipsos leader Edwin Song - from where it will focus on Chinese and regional clients.
With this investment MetrixLab now has fifteen offices around the world, and 115 research professionals based in Asia.
Song (pictured) joined the firm last month and brings more than twenty years' market research experience in the Chinese and Asian market. Most recently, he served as MD, Market Understanding & Measurement at Ipsos Greater China, having been Synovate's MD, Capabilities. Before this he was MD, Shanghai for Oracle Added Value, and AD, Client Service at Nielsen China. Song began his career as a Marketing Analyst at Coca-Cola.
