Online MR software company Confirmit has acquired social media intelligence and text analytics specialist Integrasco. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Founded in 2004, Integrasco develops analytical technology solutions to help companies track performance across social media, traditional media and customer channels, and to mine unstructured text and insights. The firm operates from offices in London, UK, Oslo and Grimstad, Norway, and Chengdu, China.
Confirmit says the deal, which follows the previous acquisitions of CustomerSat in 2012, Techneos in 2011 and Pulse Train in 2007, will enable businesses to gather relevant social media feedback at the point of experience.
