In the US, cannabis industry business intelligence platform Headset has extended its Headset Insights trend analysis solution to cover California's legal cannabis industry.Headset, which was launched last year in Washington, Colorado and Nevada, collects data in real-time, directly from the industry's POS (point-of-sale) systems, and reports back to operators to guide their business decisions. The new Headset Insights service has been designed to deliver market trends based on aggregated sales data collected from retailers and dispensaries in real-time. Using this service, the firm says operators can better understand the competitive landscape, know their brands' position in the market, and identify opportunities for future product development.
