Australia's Nine Hires Ad Impact Leader

Australian broadcaster Nine has hired Jonathan Fox for the new role of Director of Effectiveness, with a remit to demonstrate advertiser ROI. He formerly held the role of Head of Effectiveness at marketing and media consultancy Ebiquity.

Jonathan FoxFox spent three and a half years at Ebiquity, playing a key role in the Payback Australia Study, a detailed look at the effectiveness of different media channels. Earlier he worked as an econometrician in the UK with agency Holmes & Cook.

In his new role, starting on October 29th, he is based in the 9Powered client solutions business, and will use a range of econometric and attribution-based modelling tools to demonstrate the real business impact of advertisers' campaigns.
