Users of unstructured feedback analysis platform Canvs AI can now use natural language to customize thematic analysis, describing their research goals, tone and style preferences, and specify preferred 'nets' and codes to create a customized analysis 'in minutes'.The firm launched AI Story Assist in April of last year, offering users instant transformation of open-ended text from surveys, social media and online reviews into a natural language summary. With the help of a subsequent funding win, Canvs has announced regular upgrades for the tool, and last month it brought in former Revuze and NetBase Quid exec Laura Kegley as Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), to build on the momentum.
In addition to the natural language instructions feature, the latest release allows users to input specific 'nets' to organize the analysis based on their research needs; and to iterate and refine analysis, then rapidly regenerate results.
CEO Jared Feldman (pictured) comments: 'This capability is like having a coding assistant available 24/7 to make changes near-instantly, just by describing what needs to be changed. This means every researcher now can tailor their analysis immediately to exactly what's needed for their business, without resorting to timely and costly manual processes'.
