Brandwatch Launches React Score Tool

December 6 2024

Social media management and consumer intelligence suite Brandwatch has launched an automated React Score, giving clients real-time data to help with reputation management.

Brandwatch logoBrandwatch is part of PR group Cision, alongside CisionOne, PR Newswire and Streem. Its new React Score taps natural language processing (NLP) models to analyze conversations from more than 100 million sources, spot risks and opportunities for brands and provide summaries. Ratings are provided for three key categories: Harm, identifying potentially damaging content; Spam, detecting irrelevant or promotional messages that clutter brand conversations; and Emotion, which measures the tone of consumer sentiment.

The tool promises to help track reputation in real time, with clear rankings to help prioritise responses. It also integrates with a number of AI and manual analysis tools to allow deeper digging into shifts in sentiment and drill-downs by sub-topic.

Brandwatch recently announced a collaboration with Google Cloud, to make use of the gen AI capabilities of Vertex AI and Gemini, and says it will release Iris, an AI query assistant, in the first quarter of next year.

Chief Product and Technology Officer Matt Tippets comments: 'It has never been more important for brands to have access to accurate and reliable insights. Brandwatch built this game-changing hybrid approach, combining generative and proprietary AI with human oversight to deliver accurate, reliable insights that help our customers confidently navigate the complexities of the digital landscape'.
