Full service insights firm BVA BDRC has launched a new initiative exploring the Future of Finance, led by Head of Qualitative Shivani Upreti and MD Lucy Watts.
BDRC was established in 1991, and since 2018 has been part of French research and consultancy company BVA, alongside mystery shopping and store observation firm ESA Retail, digital agency Alligator, operations business Perspective and viewing facility / qual recruiter Viewpoint. In March last year it launched a synthetic data product called Pixel.AI, which it says accurately predicts responses from restricted segments by training on existing and representative data.
Upreti joined the firm in August last year, while Watts joined two years ago after seventeen years at HSBC, latterly as Global Head of Insight, Global Marketing. The new study promises 'a comprehensive understanding of cultural trends and the most compelling areas of opportunity for financial organisations', and is intended as a strategic roadmap for clients looking to innovate.
Upreti (pictured) comments: 'In today's rapidly evolving landscape, financial institutions must work harder than ever to stay relevant, anticipating the trends and cultural shifts shaping the industry's future. This work will enable clients to gain competitive advantage by placing cultural understanding at the heart of their strategy'.
